| Is anyone else excited about the Superbowl next Sunday?! The Bears and The Colts...Both great teams AND both are MidWest teams! I can't wait! There had better be some great commercials!
I wish it wasn't snowing and cold outside b/c I'm in a fixer upper mood. I want to fix up the porch and put the bricks/stones down in the front yard. There's a lot more that I want to do, but it'll get done! I know it will.
I miss my STL peeps and my Millibubble peeps (luv and roses, SAI!). I hope I get to catch up w/ everyone soon!

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I had to listen to someone cry and say how they screwed up once again and how that's pretty much what they have done w/ their life.
No...You haven't done that. Everything happens for a reason. You made those choices for a reason, whether they were the best or not.
I'm not turning my back on you and I never will. What kind of person would I be if I did that? My heart hurts just thinking about that. I'm behind you 110%.
I hope the people reading this know I stand behind them as well. It is NEVER for me to judge what you do or why you do it. If you stand behind your choices or learn from them, why in the world should I bring you down or tell you that you messed up? I would hope you'd learn from that choice and be able to move on from that. We don't reminders of failures or bad choices and I'm not about to start doing that to anyone...I've seen what it does to people and all it does it ruin their spirit. Yes...their spirit.
My heart goes out to all of you right now. Please know I'm thinking of you...Especially you who can't read this. Just know that I love you.

| This past weekend was the birthday weekend! Friday after closing at work, Joey and I headed to St. Louis and made it there in good time. When we got there, we were led to the back porch where the "Party Porch" was presented to us. There were tiki torches and there were colored lights in the bushes. We stayed out there for awhile and moved in when it rained. We stayed up until about 2am playing games.
Saturday was Michael's birthday and his 1st football game of the season. Everyone was so pumped/nervous about the game that when he left, I asked my family, "Did anyone say happy birthday to him?"...Um, yeah. We did NOT wish him a Happy Birthday. So, we made him a huge poster and embarrassed him at his game. Haha.
The family came over for a BBQ and we played Washers, which I hadn't played in a long time. We got wonderful cake and opened up our presents. We were very happy w/ them!
Bowling followed w/ my siblings, cousin Emily, Joey, Lisa and Sarah (minus Martha  ...). We had a lot of fun!
Joey and I met up w/ Bob Sunday morning for Uncle Bill's breakfast. I ended up taking a nap and not feeling so well throughout the day. O-well.
All in all a great weekend!
I just wish there was more time. I wanted to stay longer and by the time we got back, the weekend was over. Monday was right around the corner to go back to work.
What can I do though? I just have to be happy w/ the time that God gives us.

| I turned 22 today and I think it went pretty well! I made $$$ today, since I had to work. I got BEAUTIFUL flowers from both Joey and my awesome coworkers. I was really touched by this b/c I haven't even been there for 2 weeks, and they took the time to get me a nice card and pretty flowers. ALL of those flowers brought a smile to my face.
I got to have Chinese food w/ Brynn and give her her birthday gift! YAY! The only thing that would've made it better would've been if Jenn had been there in honor of the Chinese food! How I miss those days...
I got back to work and got the funniest messages from my family members. Wow. I laughed so hard that I almost cried...I can't wait to see them.
After work, Joey and I got to have a nice dinner at Tuscany and we went shopping for Michael's birthday gift. Ice cream followed.
I would've loved to go out and see Dave sing w/ my coworkers, but after all of that I was exhausted. I'm hoping for a night out w/ the gang soon!
Speaking of the gang, Chicago was great last weekend. It was good to see everyone again b/c I miss them all like crazy. DMan deserved a break from DTown, Willie and Jean got some company, Megan got away from work and Charles and Steph got to travel more! 6 Flags and Brunch anytime! I love you guys!
Thank you to EVERYONE who sent me birthday wishes and just made my day special. It's always nice to know that someone out there is thinking of you.
